This made me laugh because it’s a pure match of my experience.
I unwittingly said to my son that I was still getting some intrusive thoughts; of course he asked what they were, and I did my best to explain. The explanation was met with a look of concern. While I knew others related to this symptom, it’s apparently only others who have experienced Benzo WD!! I wouldn’t try to explain it again, but God forbid, this was a frightening symptom, having to chuck out these awful thoughts that popped up from nowhere!!!
